Am an Easypay merchant running a supermarket and i would like to also use your mobile wallet as another payment method. How do my customers pay for their purchased goods via Easypay
Hey Gilbert,
Paying for goods via Easypay involves sending money from one Easypay account to another. Therefore, first of all, customers must download the Easypay app and register for an Easypay account. REF https://www.easypay.co.ug/kb/knowledge-base/how-to-register-for-an-easypay-account/ after that they will then be able to pay for their purchased goods in the following way;
Biller codes: This is a 6- digit numeric value given to every merchant. It is the code on which customers send money to for their purchased goods.
QR codes: This is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, a merchant can simply print off his/her QR code and customers can simply scan it using their smartphone cameras and send money to it for their purchased goods.
Thank you for choosing Easypay mobile wallet.
