Why does Easypay require me to provide a copy of my ID?

I want to register as a merchant but among your requirements i see a valid national ID and i don’t have it now. Is it so important for me to provide a copy of my ID? Why?

Hello Rogers,

You need to provide your valid national ID for security reasons and also for identification i.e your village , town , city etc.. can all be identified using your national ID. Therefore, you have to use all means to provide your valid national ID so as to be registered as an Easypay merchant.
