Transfer mobile money – You can send mobile money from your mobile money account to Easypay and vice versa. All major mobile money providers are supported.
On the Easypay platform, the process of transferring money from your mobile money account to easypay is also referred to as; top-up, refill, depositing or pay in. The process of sending money from your easypay account to your mobile money account is also referred to as withdrawing or payout.
Easypay standard accounts are tightly bound to the phone number you used to register. If you plan to be using mobile money features then it would be advised you register for Easypay using your phone number with an active mobile money account.
Easypay merchant accounts bypass the above restriction. You can send or receive from any mobile money phone number. This feature also allows you to become a mobile money agent for all supported networks. As an easypay merchant using this service, you are also sent your commissions in real-time.
Transfer mobile money into Easypay
When transferring money from your mobile money account into Easypay account, you are charged a refill service charge. The process of transfering money from your mobile money account into Easypay is identical to Top-up Easypay Using Mobile Money.

After you have entered your information and clicked next. You will get confirmation from Easypay stating you have raised a refill request. Leave the app at this point so as you can see your Mobile Money Popup sent to your phone from the network, see Fig 2 |

Depending on your network, The image in Fig 2 will be displayed after a few seconds. Now here, enter your Mobile Money PIN and tap send.
After a few seconds when you are done with the Mobile Money Screen, the money will be deposited into your Easypay account and you are good to go! Merchants Easypay Merchants will have the option of being able to edit the phone number above thus being able to operate as a mobile money agent. Merchants also earn a commission from this type of transaction. |
